Applied Data Systems Honored by Microsoft Windows Embedded as Partner of the Year!

Las Vegas, NV May 11, 2005 – Microsoft Corp. today announced the winners of the Microsoft® Windows® Embedded North American Partner of the Year awards at the Windows Mobile & Embedded DevCon (MEDC) 2005. The Partner of the Year awards recognize the expertise of industry partners that over the past year have helped to quickly bring a wide range of innovative Windows Powered devices to market.

Applied Data Systems (ADS), headquartered in Columbia, Maryland was named Partner of the Year in the Systems Integrator category. ADS led all mobile and embedded industry partners in service engagements and labor hours for 2005 by a substantial amount in both categories. During 2004, ADS was actively engaged in Microsoft Embedded events and marketing activities, and assisted business intelligence efforts with up-to-date reporting and other timely participation.

ADS has helped an expanding number of CE customers develop their solutions in markets such as government/security and medical applications. Three ADS personnel  are part of the prestigious Microsoft “Most Valued Professionals” (MVPs) and have published many white papers, and are active in newsgroups.
